COMMUNICATIONS INTERFACE FOR THE PGM449
Introduction
The communications program for the palm PGM449 device allows the exchange of data between the memory inserted
in the palm and the PC. This allows you to create an archive of all the installations carried out. The program works under
Windows® (95/98, 2000 NT and XP) and is operated using a series of pop menus.
If you use Windows 2000 NT and XP you must install and run the program as a "system administrator".

At start up the program uses the system's default printer; to choose another printer
you may select one that has been installed from the pop up window "Set Printer"
as shown in the menu on the right.

2.1 Installations list
The list of installations appears in the following window and allows 3 possible rapid search parameters (Installation, Town,
Address); The "RESET" button resets the list (using search parameters reduces the size of the list to the results which
satisfy the criteria) to the initial state.

The buttons that appear at the bottom of the window have the following functions:
"CLOSE": closes the window.
"SHOW": shows the data for the chosen selection (the one being pointed at by the black arrow cursor in the left hand
column); installation data can also be visualised by double clicking the relative field.
"NEW INSTALLATION (1000 codes)": creates a new installation for 24LC64 (1000 codes) memory modules.
"NEW INSTALLATION (300 codes)": creates a new installation for 24LC16 (300 codes) memory modules.
"DELETE": cancels an installation.
"MODIFY": allows you to access and modify the data relative to the chosen installation.
"PRINT": prints a list of installations.

The installations menu allows access to the complete list of installations,
generates a list of those that need maintenance and allows you to search
for a code within the installation list.
