Horizontal Saddle Position
The horizontal saddle setting (forward/backward) affects the position of the
body's center of gravity in downhill. The right position of the saddle additionally
supports the stirring of the bike with the legs. The tip of the saddle is in general
situated above the bottom bracket bearings while in the starting position.
For adjustments a plumb line is held on the tip of the saddle and measures the
distance to the bottom bracket bearings.
