Saddle Height
When determining the correct saddle height, the saddle is ideally situated by the
lower third of the thigh while in the descending starting position (level cranks).
When the inside of the thigh touches the saddle, the muscles (not the bony
structure of the knee) need to touch the saddle. Here the saddle is to orient
with the inseam while in the basic setting. This way, the saddle allows for a high
movement amplitude in most situations and short passages can be ridden in the
saddle at the same time (e.g. transition sections).
