When removing the blade,
handle it with great care
as it is extremely sharp.
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them in a safe place.
Any use which does not comply with these instructions will absolve
TEFAL of all liability.
− Keep the appliance out of children's reach.
− Use the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
− Check that the voltage of your appliance matches that of your electrical
system. Fully unroll the power cord. Do not use an extension lead. If
the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer or its
approved service centre. Any connection error will render the guarantee
null and void.
− Your appliance is designed solely for domestic use.
− Before each use, make sure that the parts of the appliance are correctly
positioned. Check the position of the blade and bowl.
− To keep the blade in good condition, do not process hard foods such as
squares of chocolate, sugar lumps, parmesan, walnuts, ice cubes, etc.
− Unplug the appliance as soon as you stop using it, to clean it and whenever
you need to handle the blade. Do not unplug it by pulling the cord.
− Do not put the appliance on a hot surface, near a flame or splashing water.
− Do not start up the steaming function without any water in the tank.
− Do not start up the blender function if the appliance is empty, or for
more than 10 seconds at a time.
− Do not remove the plug from the tank during operation and wait approximately
10 minutes after the end of the cooking before opening it.
− Never stick a fork, knife or metal object in the appliance.
− Never use your appliance if it is not operating properly or if it has been
damaged. In such cases, always contact TEFAL or an approved TEFAL
service centre.
