Proper use

The information on the type label must be
observed. Non-observance of the data given
there is regarded as improper use.
The fi lters are generally suitable for the
usage with Group 2 fl uids according to the
directive 97/23/EC. Their intended use is the
purifi cation of compressed air and (gaseous)
nitrogen within the limits of the stipulated
values. In the case that the fi lter is used for
the purifi cation of other gases of Fluid Group
2 (especially corrosive gases or gases that
create a corrosive compound when exposed
to oil- or water vapour), please contact the
manufacturer in advance.
Always heed to the respective safety data
sheet of the used fl uid.
Impermissible use
It is not permissible to fi lter critical fl uids.
The fi lters must never be used for the fi ltra-
tion of explosive, combustible or toxic gases
from fl uid group 1 as defi ned in Directive
97/23/EC.
Changes to the pressure vessels are not
permitted. Modifi cations will endanger the
operational safety and may cause damage
or personal injury.

Target group

The present Operating Instructions are in-
tended for specialists charged with installa-
tion, operation and maintenance of the fi lter.
Such persons must be trained in handling
pressure devices and have basic knowledge
of how to handle pressure devices.
