CAUTION: the safety precautions are part of the appliance.
Read them carefully before using your new appliance for the first
time. Keep them in a place where you can find and refer to them
later on.
Warning:
The appliance will only start if the jug is correctly positoned on the
motor unit (5).
BEFORE USING YOUR APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Before using your appliance for the first time, hand-wash the parts that come into contact with
food (jug, lid and measuring cap) in warm soapy water except for the motor unit.
ATTENTION: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR UNIT/CONTROL PANEL OR PUT IT UNDER WATER OR
ANY OTHER LIQUID. Clean with a damp cloth and dry it carefully.
CAUTION: The blades are extremely sharp and not removable.
• Make sure all the packaging has been removed before operating the appliance.
• Do not operate the blender if the lid is not in place.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
• Put the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from sources of heat or water
splashes.
• Make sure the silicone gasket is in place on the motor unit. Position the jug correctly on the
motor unit.
• Add the ingredients into the assembled jug without exceeding the maximum level indicated:
2L. It is recommended to half-fill the jug (1L) for foamy food.
• After making hot soup, wait until the jug cools down between 2 recipes.
• Less than 3 minutes of mixing are enough to blend liquids for most of the recipes.
• Lock the lid on the jug. Place the measuring cap in position on the lid and lock it by rotating it.
• To add ingredients while blending, remove the measuring cap from the lid and add the
ingredients through the feeder hole. Beware of the risk of spatter.
• Plug in the blender and press on the power button (7) a the bottom right of the appliance. The
