3. UNPACKING

CAUTION
• During the unpacking operations, it is necessary to wear gloves and safety goggles in order to
avoid damage to hands and eyes.
• The packaging elements (plastic bags, clamps, etc.) must be never left at children's reach
because they are a source of possible dangers.
• The disposal of the packaging components must be carried out in compliance with the standard
which are valid in the countries where the water cleaner has been installed.
Especially plastic bags and plastic materials must not be abandoned in the environment, becau-
se they damage it.
• After having unpacked the water cleaner, it is necessary to make sure that the device is integer.
In case of doubts, do not absolutely use the water cleaner, but apply to an authorised service
centre that will make it be checked by a Skilled Engineer.
3.1 IDENTIFICATION PLATE AND WARNING SIGNS
Also refer to Fig. 5 at the beginning of this use and maintenance manual.
The identification plate (21) bears the serial number and the main technical features of the water cleaner.
The warning signs inform you on the possible residual risks that can arise from the use of the water
cleaner and their meaning is cleared as follows.
• Warning sign (39): informs you about the danger of burns due to the contact with the hot parts
located near the plate itself.
• Warning sign (38): informs you about the use prohibition of the water cleaner if before you
have not carefully read this use and maintenance manual.
• Warning sign (37): informs you about the use prohibition of the water cleaner to wash persons,
animals, electrical devices and the water cleaner itself.

CAUTION
• After having unpacked the water cleaner, check that the identification plate and the warning
signs are present and readable. Otherwise apply to the dealer or an authorised service centre to
get them.
• If during the use the identification plate or the warning signs get destroyed, apply to the dealer
or an authorised service centre to get them.

3.2 STANDARD EQUIPMENT

Make sure that the package of the purchased product contains the following elements:
• KE high-pressure water cleaner;
• high-pressure delivery hose;
• water gun;
• lance hose;
• use and maintenance manual;
• guarantee certificate;
• envelope of accessories containing:
- hose holding connector for water suction,
- water suction filter (only KE Classic);
- nozzle;
- lance support;
- lance support fixing;
- two screws.
In case of problems, apply to the dealer or an authorised service centre.
