Charging (Fig. 3)
ATTENTION! The charger is calibrated for use with the Li-ion battery installed in the tool!
Therefore use only the charger supplied with the tool.
ATTENTION! The charger will become warm during charging! Therefore do not use the
charger on highly flammable materials, such as paper, fabrics, etc.) or in a potentially
explosive environment.
The battery-operated screwdriver has not been fully charged at the works. Before using for
the first time charge the screwdriver unit for 4 hours. To do this insert the charger plug (5) into
the charging socket (4), and connect the charging unit (6) up to a power supply.
CARE! Do not exceed the maximum charging time of 5 hours, as there is a risk of
overheating!
Charge check (Fig. 4)
The battery's charge status can be checked on the LED charging display (17) by pressing the

Operation
Insert bits of 50 mm length and over up to the stop in the bit holder (3). With normal
1" bits (a) and sockets, used an additional bit holder (b). (Fig. 2) Before starting the
tool, apply the screwdriver bit to the screw and operate the switch (1) to set the
screwdriver turning in the required direction. To stop, release the switch.
Manual operation
In the switched-off condition the drive shaft is automatically locked. This enables tight screws
to be turned manually.
LED work light
The work light makes it easier to work in poor ambient light, e.g. in cupboards. It can be switched on
and off with the slide switch (2), as required.
Care and maintenance
Clean the case only with a damp cloth – Do not use solvents! Then dry well. To maintain capacity, we
recommend completely discharging and recharging the battery every two months. Store only fully
charged batteries. They should therefore be recharged from time to time. The place of storage must
be dry; the ambient temperature must not fall below 0 °C or rise above 40 °C.
