For example, if you press
on, letter combinations that match your key presses appear:

the last letter entered
If you want a different word, such as
number keys to enter the remaining characters.
Entering Words
In a text entry screen, you can press
select . An indicator tells you which method is active (see
iTAP
page 27).
1 Press number keys (one press per letter) to show possible
letter combinations at the bottom of the display.
2 Press right or left to highlight the combination you want.
3 Press ( ) to insert a highlighted combination.
