3 .1 Protecting individuals
The sprayer must not be used by: Children or
youths.
Store out of children's reach.
Escaping, dangerous liquids can seriously
damage health.
Before each usage, check the device for
leaks, external damage and sound functio-
ning of the pump, the regulating valve and
the safety valve with integrated piston-type
pressure gauge.
Pay particular attention to the hose – tank
and hose – regulating valve connections,
as well as the condition of the hose and the
threads on the pump and screw cap.
Suggested checks
Leak tightness: Pump up empty sprayer to
2 bar. The pressure must not drop more
than 0.5 bar within 30 minutes.
Function: Pull safety valve (Figure 2).
Pressure must escape.
Squeeze and release regulating valve.
Regulating valve must open and close.
Do not operate if the sprayer is damaged or
leaking.
Avoid overpressure (> 3 bar).
Only use the sprayer outdoors.
Always observe the instructions issued by
the spray medium manufacturer.
Not suitable for combustible liquids.
Never use solvents or solvent-based liquids.
Seals can swell and become inoperable.
Never store liquids in the tank.
The liquids may cause damage to the tank. Risk
of explosion!
