Installation of glass panels
Please note that it is not necessary to remove the burn-
er to install the glass panels on the 1400 and 1400J
models. However, it is necessary to remove the burner
the burner cover when installing into 1400K models.
1400K models ONLY.
Inside the fi rebox, remove the burner cover. It is
hooked to the burner. Push it backward and lift up.
All 1400 models

Inside the fi rebox, on the top of each side, release
the screw of the side brick anchors (one per side)
to allow them to rotate.

Sandwich the left side
glass panel (smooth side
out) against one of the
side ceramic fi ller panel
and hold them together
using two clips at the
bottom edge. Repeat
for the right side glass
panel. Set the side panels
assemblies aside.

Place the rear ceramic fi ller panel on the railing at
the back of the fi rebox and add the glass panel,
smooth side out, in front of the ceramic panel. Both
panels should be retained at the bottom by the
fl ange of the railing. Hold the panels in place.

Install either the left or the right side glass and fi ller
panels assembly against the fi rebox side and slide
it back against the rear panels.
5.
Rotate the side anchor over the top edge to hold
the panels ensuring the panels are tight together.
Tighten the anchor screw.
6.
Repeat with the other side panels assembly.
