Insert 3 AAA batteries (contained with the material supplied) in
the battery compartment. Pay attention to correct polarity!

Close the battery compartment, reinsert and retighten the screw.
Charging the batteries in the receiver unit
Connect the power adapter plug leading from the charger to a
properly installed mains power outlet. Charging of the batteries begins
automatically.

When the control lamp flashes orange, the batteries must
be recharged.

While the batteries are being charged, the colour of the
control lamp switches between orange and green.
S
When the batteries are fully charged, the control lamp lights
up green continuously.
Transmitter unit
1.
Connect the power adapter plug to a properly installed mains
power outlet.
2.
Position the transmitter unit near the baby/child (approx. 1.5 m to
2 m away) and ensure that the microphone is aligned towards
the baby/child for optimal transmission.
Ensure that the transmitter unit is out of reach of the baby/
child. Never place the unit in the baby's bed or child's play-
pen!
3.
Press and hold the On/Off button for approx. 5 seconds to switch
the transmitter unit on.
4.
The transmitter unit starts signal transmission immediately the
integrated microphone detects noises. Transmission is stopped
when no more sounds are detected.
5.
You can adjust the volume (for the handsfree function) with the
aid of the volume control.
