6. Start to lift the vehicle. Regularly check that the jack is stable with no lean. If it is not, lower the
vehicle and reposition the jack to avoid the jack giving way or slipping out from under the vehicle
due to the load.
7. Once the vehicle is at the desired height, place the jack stands underneath. Slowly lower the jack
to rest the vehicle on the jack stands.
Lowering the vehicle
1. Lift the load enough so you can remove the jack stands under the vehicle. Carefully remove the
jack stands.
2. Slowly turn the handle anti-clockwise to lower the vehicle.
3. When the jack no longer holds a load and is clear of the vehicle, take it out from under the
vehicle.
STORAGE
When not in use, lower the jack as much as possible and fold the handle down alongside the jack
before storing it.
MAINTENANCE
Use a damp cloth to clean the jack. Never use solvents or aggressive cleaning products.
Lubricate the threaded rod and gearwheels with a lithium-based grease.
Protect pivot points from corrosion by applying some grease.
