Operation

Before starting your new cooling device for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic
reasons (please also refer to the "Cleaning and care" chapter on
page 18).
6.1

Energy saving tips

Choose a well ventialated installation location which is protected against
direct sunlight.
Allow food to cool down first before placing it in the device.
Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
Do not leave the lid or door open for longer than necessary.
6.2

Using the cooler

➤ Place the coolbox on a firm base.
As is the case with every fridge, your cool box must be very well
ventilated so that the heat which is withdrawn may also be carried
off, otherwise it is not possible for the equipment to function pro-
perly.
➤ Connect the 12 V connection cable (6 1,page 4) into the cigarette lighter
socket or a 12 V socket in the vehicle (2, Seite 3)
or
➤ Connect the 220-240 V connection cable ((6 2,page 4) to the 220-240 V
AC mains supply.
➤ Push the switch (5 3,page 4) on the control panel to the position „HOT"
or „COLD" in order to switch on the cooling box.
✓ The cooling box starts to cool or heat the interior space.
