The griddle
After use, simply wipe the griddle; do not wash it.
CAREFUL: never suddenly cool plates.
Preparing crepes requires a contribution of fat on the griddle.
Fats that are used to lubricate the griddle or fat already included in the batter will gradually thicken
the initial seasonning. Try to avoid the griddle become too thick because:
- It acts as an insulator and interferes with the cooking.
- It is flaking off or giving the impression that the metal disintegrates.
We recommend your to use regularly the Krampouz abrasive stone ref. APA1 to strip the griddle. If
the seasoning is too thick default regular stripping, it is possible stripping plate by blasting (contact
our customer service).
After these operations must be redone a seasoning as for a new product.
