Obligations and liability

• Knowledge of the fundamental safety information and safety regulations is
an essential prerequisite to the proper handling and trouble-free operation of
the MicroKom BluFlex ® 2 precision drilling system.
• These operating instructions, and particularly the safety information, must be
observed by all persons who work with the MicroKom BluFlex ® 2 precision
drilling system.
• In addition, all applicable accident prevention rules and regulations must be
observed and enforced at all times.
• The MicroKom BluFlex ® 2 precision drilling system has been manufactured
to state-of-the-art standards and in accordance with generally accepted safety
practices. Nevertheless, hazards for the user or third parties may still arise during
use and risks to the MicroKom BluFlex ® 2 precision drilling system or other
property cannot be entirely ruled out. The MicroKom BluFlex ® 2 precision
drilling system must therefore be used only
- for the purpose intended
- in faultless, technically safe condition.
• In the event of any malfunction that could pose a risk to the safety of the
MicroKom BluFlex ® 2 precision drilling system, the MicroKom BluFlex ® 2
precision drilling system must be switched off. Please consult the manufacturer.
• Please note that the following circumstances can affect the operational reliability
of the MicroKom BluFlex ® 2 precision drilling system as well as the safety
of those engaged in working with the system:
- Improper use of the MicroKom BluFlex ® 2 precision drilling system.
- Incorrect assembly, startup, operation and maintenance of the MicroKom BluFlex ® 2
precision drilling system.
- Operation of the MicroKom BluFlex ® 2 precision drilling system in a machine
that has defective safety equipment or safety and protective devices that have
been fitted incorrectly or are not properly operational.
- Noncompliance with the information in these operating instructions relating to
the transport, storage, assembly, startup, maintenance and setup of the unit.
- Unauthorised modifications to components of the MicroKom BluFlex ® 2
precision drilling system.
- Inadequate monitoring of unit parts that are subject to wear.
- Repairs carried out incorrectly.
- Catastrophes caused by external factors or force majeure events.
In individual cases, this may also lead to a limitation of liability or an exclusion
of liability on the part of the manufacturer, but contractual and statutory rights
remain unaffected by the circumstances indicated above.
