First use

Remove all components from the packaging and clean before
first use.
Before first use, rinse the pizza stone with warm water and allow
to dry thoroughly. (Never completely soak the stone)
When doing so, please note the details under cleaning.

Safety instructions

 Pizza stone and stainless steel stand become very hot. Take
care when using and cleaning!
 Do not touch or clean the stone and stand before they have
fully cooled
 Sudden changes in temperature may cause the stone to crack
or break. Therefore never place the stone in cold water to cool

 Do not place frozen food directly onto the hot stone
 Heat the pizza stone while heating up the oven or barbecue
and do not place it cold into a hot oven or barbecue

Preparation

Preheating in oven:
Place the stone on a shelf at the bottom of a cold oven and pre-
heat on top setting (pizza setting or fan) for approx. 30 minutes.
Do not place the stone onto a baking sheet or directly onto the
floor of the oven as this will prevent the circulation of air. The
longer the stone is preheated the shorter the baking time.
