Cooling the machine down
Having finished welding, cool the machine down with running
ventilator and heating set to 0.

5.1 Welding with the rapid welding nozzle

Guide the welding rod through the nozzle and press it into the
groove.
Welding can be done easily and quickly with the aid of the rapid
welding nozzle. The rapid welding nozzle simultaneously heats
and positions the welding rod, pressing it into the joint.
Using a pressure roller is not necessary.
Trimming the welding rod
Immediately after welding the excess welding rod is then
trimmed with a trimming guide and quarter moon knife. In the
course of this, a small amount of the rod remains.
After cooling, the excess is trimmed once more only with the
quarter moon knife. The welding seam is now completely flat.
Re-sharpening the quarter moon knife
Always pay attention that the quarter moon knife is always sharp
and the blade is not damaged. Damages cause scratches in the
floor covering.
Use the diamond sharpening stone frequently for re-sharpening
the quarter moon knife.
