When the espresso coffee maker has heated to the required temperature, the "HEATING" lamp will turn off, which will
indicate that the espresso coffee maker is heated and ready for use.
8. Turn the mode selector clockwise to the espresso setting
outlet.
Important: Do not circulate descaling solution through the steam wand.
Note: Depending on the size of the container underneath the water outlet, it will occasionally be necessary to empty it
during this process.
9. After half of the solution has circulated through the machine, turn the mode selector to the off position to stop the flow
and press the switch to turn off the coffee maker.
10. Keep the coffee maker off for 10-15 minutes so that the descaling solution can do its job.
11. Press the switch to turn on the coffee maker.
12. Turn the mode selector to the espresso setting
outlet.
13. Take the water tank out of the coffee maker and rinse thoroughly under running water. Make sure that all remains of
the descaling solution have been removed. Fill with clean water and reinstall the tank.
14. Turn the mode selector to the espresso setting
outlet.
Note: Depending on the size of the container underneath the water outlet, it will occasionally be necessary to empty it
during this process.
15. When this function has been completed, take away the container underneath the water outlet and wipe the coffee
maker thoroughly.
16. Replace the rubber gasket, the screen and the washer in the water outlet. Tighten well.
17. Fill the water tank with tap water and reinstall in the coffee maker.
