To avoid an inaccurate measurement

Switch on the thermometer by pressing the ON/OFF button.
After one beep is heard (and the temperature scale icon is flashing), straighten
the ear canal by gently pulling the middle of the ear back and up.
Place the probe firmly into the ear canal, press the Start button and keep the
probe in the ear until the thermometer beeps to identify the completion of the
measurement.
The Digital Infrared Ear Thermometer has been clinically tested and proven to
be safe and accurate when used in accordance with its operating instruction
manual.

Description
Press the ON/OFF button to turn
on the unit, all segments will be
shown for 2 seconds
The last reading will be shown
on the display automatically for 2
seconds
The unit is ready for measurement,
the °C or °F icon will keep flashing
The reading will be shown on the
LCD display with the °C or °F icon
flashing, the unit is ready again for
the next measurement
A crossed-ear-icon shown on the
LCD if the reading falls outside
the range 32.0 to 42.2°C (89.6 to
108.0°F)
I When the unit is turned on,the
battery icon will keep flashing to
remind the user to replace the
battery
