COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION
Notes on using the induction hob and ceramic radiant hob
• Do not place food directly onto hob surface – always cook with a pot.
• Do not arbitrarily leave oil or oiled foods on the hob surface, since oil could be
overheated and produce fire. If fire is caused by oil, do not put off fire by pouring
water onto it. Place a lid to cover the fire and switch off the power.
• The hob surface may be damaged by dropping of hard and sharp objects. Keep
hard and sharp objects at proper places.
• Never put hot cookware on top of the control panel.
• Examine the bottom of pot before using. The bottom of pot should not be rough or

Touch controls
• The controls respond to touch, so you don't need to apply any pressure.
• Use the ball of your finger, not its tip.
Glass Pot
• You will hear a beep each time a touch is registered.
• Make sure the controls are always clean, dry, and that there is no object (e.g. a
utensil or a cloth) covering them. Even a thin film of water may make the controls
difficult to operate.
