• Not correct repairs can be very dangerous for the user and revoke the warranty rights.
Attention! The product repairing and inspection operations should be carried out only by
the authorized technical assistance centre.
• When the product is be eliminated it is necessary to make it unusable (for example by
cutting the supply cable or the pin).
• If the product is not used in the correct way the manufacturer is not responsible for possible
damages.
By using electrical appliances it is necessary to follow some rules.
IN PARTICULAR:
• Never touch the product with wet or humid hands or feet and do not put it into water.
• Do not pull the supply cable with wet or humid hands or feet.
• Do not put the product under the tap to fill the boiler.
• In case of overheating of the steam generator a safety thermo-fuse automatically turns off
the product for safety reasons. To restart it, it is necessary to bring it in an authorized
technical assistance centre.
• Do not direct the steam toward persons because it could be dangerous.
• Do not iron on wet surfaces but only humid.
• After ironing let the unit cools completely before putting the smoothing iron away.
• Do not mix water for the steam station with spot remover or similar, for example chemical
substances or perfumes.
• The steam complete ironing station must not be moved during use.
• Wind the ironing board cable and the steam station cable without flexing them too much.
Pay attention to the cable breaking.
ATTENTION!
If it is necessary to change some parts of the steam complete ironing station, only use
original spare parts.
• Only use this appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions. Never
use for any other purposes.
• Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid for any reasons. Respect the instructions for cleaning.
• Do not use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
• Do introduce neither sharp metallic objects, nor fingers inside the appliance.
• It is not recommended to use adapters, multiple sockets or extension cord. If necessary use an
extension cord or a multiple adapter corresponding to current safety legislation making sure the
power limit indicated on the adapter is not exceeded. Take cautions with the extension cord and
place it where nobody could accidentally pull or trip over it.
• Ensure that the power supply cable does not hang down from the work surface as it could be easily
pulled, particularly by small children, thereby causing serious accidents.
• If the cord or the plug is getting more and more hot, contact a qualified electrician.
• Never repair the appliance yourself. All interventions made by a non-qualified person can be
dangerous ; in this case guarantee conditions would be cancelled. As well as the change of the
cord has to be done by a competent electrician.
