For your own safety, please observe the following safety measures when using elec -
trical appliances:
1. To avoid electric shock, neither the heater, power cable nor plug are allowed to
come into contact with water or other fluids.
2. Before using your appliance, check if the voltage indicated on the appliance mat-
ches the mains supply voltage.
3. Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug are damaged or the appliance is
otherwise faulty, damaged or has fallen over. N ever attempt repairs yourself, but
take your appliance to SOLIS or a SOLIS approved service centre in order to get
it inspected or mechanically and electrically repaired.
4 . Do not leave the power cable hanging over table edges so that it can be pulled.
M ake sure it does not come into contact with hot surfaces such as, for ex am-
ple, a hot plate, a radiator or the front air outlet grille (C) itself.
5. Do not place the appliance near heat sources.
6 . N ever carry the appliance by the power cable and do not place it on the power
cable.
7 . W e recommend that you do not use this appliance with an ex tension cable. Do
not place the heater directly underneath a power socket.
8 . Do not use the appliance outdoors.
9 . U nplug the appliance when it is not in use or unattended, and before cleaning.
W e recommend the use of a residual current device (RCD safety switch) to en-
sure additional protection during the use of electrical appliances. It is advisable
to use a safety switch with a rated residual operating current of 30 mA max i-
mum. For professional advice consult an electrician.
10. Do not make any adjustments to the appliance, cable, plug or accessories.
11. Children are not permitted to play with the heater or use it unsupervised. Do not
sit babies or small children directly in the flow of air for long periods of time.
12. People with limited physical, sensory or mental capacities are not permitted to
use the heater, ex cept when supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
