This G42NG features 6 distinct modes of operation: Off / Q1 / Q2 /Q3 / Custom /
Test. Each setting is activated based upon the position of the switch on the inside
of t he u nit.
Off – T his p osition c ompletely p owers d own t he u nit.
Q1 – This is the first Quick Set programming mode. When the camera is changed to the this
mode, t he d isplay s creen w ill g ive a d igital r ead o ut o f h ow t he c amera i s p reprogrammed. I t w ill
scroll a cross t he d isplay a s f ollows:

With this setting the camera is preprogrammed to take photos at 8MP resolution, a 30 second
timeout d elay b etween a ctivations a nd t akes a b urst o f 3 p hotos e very t rigger a ctivation.
Q2 – This is the second Quick Set programming mode. This setting is preprogrammed to take
photos a s 8 MP r esolution, 3 0-­‐second t imeout d elay a nd t ake a s ingle p hoto p er t rigger a ctivation.
Q3 – T his i s t he t hird Q uick S et p rogramming m ode. T his s etting t he c amera i s p reprogrammed t o
take a 7 20P H D V ideo w ith a udio, h ave a 3 0 s econd t imeout d elay b etween a ctivations, a nd e ach
video w ill b e 1 0 s econds i n l ength.
