1. Insert 8 'AA' batteries into the Battery Tray. Slide Battery Tray into the bottom of the G42NG

2. Connect 1 2V B attery B ox t o t he b ottom o f t he u nit u nder t he A UX P OWER 1 2V D C g asket.
Memory
Insert a c lean C lass 1 0 S D m emory c ard, b etween 2 GB a nd 3 2GB i nto m emory c ard s lot. M emory
card must be inserted in the correct orientation until spring lock mechanism engages. (See page

Mount C amera
Mount the camera at the desired location using the strap mount, Python Lock cable, Articulating
Ball Joint Mount, or other desired mounting mechanism. Position the camera so that it does not
face E ast o r W est d irectly a s t he r ising a nd s etting o f t he s un c an c ause f alse p ositive t riggers.
