One year Limited Warranty
When installed, operated and maintained according to all
instructions supplied with the product, if this appliance fails due
to a defect in material and workmanship within one year from
the date of purchase, call 1-800-4-MY-HOME
free repair.
If this appliance is ever used for other than private family
purposes, this warranty is void.
Warranty Restriction
This warranty covers ONLY defects in material and workman-
ship, and will NOT pay for:
1. Expendable items that can wear out from normal use,
including but not limited to fi lters, belts, bags or screw-in
base light bulbs.
2. A service technician to instruct the user in correct product
installation, operation or maintenance, or to clean or
maintain this appliance.
3. Service calls to correct appliance installation not originally
performed by Sears or Sears authorized service agents, nor to
repair problems with house fuses, circuit breakers, house wiring,
plumbing or gas supply systems resulting from such installation.
4. Damage to or failure of this appliance if it is not installed,
operated or maintained according to all supplied instructions.
5. Damage to or failure of this appliance resulting from accident,
alteration, abuse, misuse, use for other than its intended
purpose, or, if not originally performed by Sears or Sears
authorized service agents, improper installation or installation
not in accordance with electrical, gas or plumbing codes.
6. Damage to or failure of this appliance caused by the use of
detergents, cleaners, chemicals or utensils other than those
recommended in all instructions supplied with the product.
7. Damage to or failure of parts or systems resulting from
unauthorized modifi cations made to this appliance.
8. Discoloration or surface rust, which are conditions that can be
the result of normal use, accident or improper maintenance.
9. Noises associated with ordinary operation of appliances
10. Damage caused by transportation and handling including
scratches, dents, chips and/or other damage to the fi nish of your
product, unless such damage results from defects in materials or
workmanship and is reported immediately upon delivery.
11. Any damage caused by improper transportation or handling
where the product was picked up at a Sears store.
12. Damaged or missing cosmetic parts on any display model,
open box or refurbished product or any product bought "as-is".

Disclaimer of implied warranties; limitation of remedies
Customer's sole and exclusive remedy under this limited war-
ranty shall be appliance repair as provided herein. Implied
warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fi tness
for a particular purpose, are limited to one year or the shortest

Sears shall not be liable for incidental or consequential dam-
ages. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitation
on the duration of implied warranties of merchantability or fi t-

nor will this warranty cover user or servicer travel and transpor-
tation expenses if this product is located in a remote area (as
defi ned by Sears Canada Inc.) where an authorized servicer is
not available. For greater clarity, Sears is not responsible to ar-
range nor will Sears pay for, pick-up and delivery of the product
to the transportation provider.
Also, Sears Canada will not service an appliance if the model
and serial plate is missing, altered or cannot easily be deter-
mined to have the Canadian certifi cation logo.
