HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTIONS
CAUTION!
Disconnect the mains plug before any fault rectification work! Faults in the electrical system
must be rectified by a qualified electrician.
Malfunction
Motor does not

Possible cause
Impeller blocked.
Thermal protection switch has swit-
ched off.
No mains power.
Float switch does not switch off when
the water level rises.
Air in pump housing. Dry running. Au-
tomatic switch off after 90 seconds.
Blockage on the suction side.
Pressure line closed off.
Pressure hose kinked.
Hose diameter too small.
Blockage on the suction side.
Feed head too high.
Float body blocked
Switch set incorrectly.
Float body blocked
Water level too low
Solution
Remove dirt in the suction area.
Clean with a suitable tool through the
opening at the back of the motor hou-
sing.
Wait until the thermal protection switch
on the pump switches on again. Take
note of the maximum temperature of
the conveying medium. Have the im-
mersion pump inspected.
Check the fuses, have the power sup-
ply checked by a qualified electrician.
Send the pump to an AL-KO service
facility.
Vent the pump by holding it at an
angle. Adjustable foot set incorrectly.
Remove dirt in the suction area.
Open the pressure line.
Extend the pressure hose.
Use a bigger pressure hose.
Remove dirt in the suction area.

data Page 5.
Clean the float body.
Adjust the switch correctly.
Clean the float body.
