The red cinch socket of the mixing desk is connected with the right cinch output of
the turntable.
Ground screw clamp (18)
If your turntables feature a ground cable, connect this to the ground clamp (18) to
avoid humming sounds.
Microphone input (12)
Plug the jack plug (6.3 mm) of your microphone into the microphone socket (12) on
the back of the mixing desk. The microphone should have an impedance of 600 Ohm
in order to avoid maladjustments and thus distortions.
Connecting the Outputs
MASTER output (16)
Connect a free cinch input of your amplifier (e.g. AUX) to the stereo cinch output
MASTER (16).
Connect the white output socket of the mixing desk with the left amplifier input.
Connect the red output socket of the mixing desk with the right amplifier input.
Make sure that the amplifier has suitable cinch inputs.
RECORDER output (15)
If you want to record the output signal of the mixing desk with a cassette deck, con-
nect the recording input of the cassette deck to the sockets RECORD (15) of the mix-
ing desk.
Connect the white output socket of the mixing desk with the left recorder input.
Connect the red output socket of the mixing desk with the right recorder input.
Also make sure that the amplifier has suitable cinch inputs here.
Headphone socket (5)
Connect headphones with a 6.3 mm jack plug to the headphone socket (5). The
headphones must have a minimum impedance of at least 8 Ohm in order to avoid
maladjustments.
