Testing the voltage of a 12 V battery (Type lead acid)
If the energiser is operating in SLOW, NIGHT SAVE, HALF POWER or FULL POWER mode and the
battery voltage falls below 10.5 V, the energiser will automatically switch OFF.
If the battery voltage then increases to more than 11 V, the energiser starts operating in the
mode indicated by the rotary switch. You can test the battery voltage at any time. Turn the rotary
switch to BATTERY TEST mode. The three indicator lights now show the battery voltage.

Energiser storage
Store the energiser in a cool, dry place when it is not in use.
Disconnect the battery to prevent the battery discharging.
If the battery is a 12 V lead acid type, the battery must be recharged every six months OR
kept on float charge.
