Note:
• T he knob on top of the rotary switch must be replaced if lost.
Please contact your local dealer if you need a replacement.

Installation

Position the energiser on firm ground away from flooding and out of reach of animals and
children. If possible, position the energiser in a sheltered area to protect it from the weather and
to improve visibility of the indicators.
Installing the 9 V battery (Type 6AS3)
1. P lace the energiser on a flat surface. Open the lid of the energiser by releasing the side latch.
Remove any loose accessories from the battery compartment.
2. S elect a 55 to 175 Ah, 9 V battery preferably the alkaline type to use with the energiser.
Remove the battery label to activate the battery (failure to do this will reduce the battery life).
3. P lace the battery in the battery compartment.
4. C onnect the positive (red +) lead from the battery to the positive (+) terminal inside the lid of the
energiser.
5. C onnect the negative (black -) lead from the battery to the negative (-) terminal inside the lid of
the energiser.
