Read this manual carefully before mounting the unit.
Compliance with the manual instructions ensures the reliable service of the device

during all the service life period. Keep this manual available for the whole period
of the service life as it contains servicing and maintenance requirements.
The device described herein is the axial fan designed for
exhaust ventilation of small and medium sized residential and
commercial premises heated during winter time.
The delivery set comprises:
1. Fan - 1 pce;
2. Control unit - 1 pce;
3. Five-wire cable - 4 m;
4. Screw and dowel - 12 pce (for MA Reverse)
or 8 pce (for MAO1 Reverse);
5. Bolt - 4 pce (for MAO1 Reverse only);
6. Nut - 4 pce (for MAO1 Reverse only);
7. Plastic nut - 4 pce (for MAO1 Reverse only);
8. Sealing gasket - 2 pce (for MAO1 Reverse only);
9. User's manual;
10. Packing.
The fan is made of white plastic.
The fan is equipped with automatic louvre shutters.
The fan is designed for connection to 150 mm air ducts.
Ingress protection rating IP24.
The fan MA Reverse fan is designed for wall mounting (fig. 1).
The fan MAO1 Reverse is designed for wall mounting (fig. 2)
as well as window mounting provided that the external grille
of the fan is protected with a hood (fig. 3).
The fan is designed for continious operation always
connected to power mains.
The fan is designed for operation at ambient temperature
range from -20°C up to +45°C.
Store the fan in manufacturer's packaging in a ventilated room
at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C and relative humidity
not more than 80% at +25°C.
Due to the constant improvements the construction of the
MA Reverse and MAO1 Reverse fans some models
may slightly differ from those described in this manual.
MA Reverse FAN INSTALLATION
1. Cut out power supply. Turn the automatic circuit breaker
QF to "OFF" position (fig. 4).
2. Remove a screw on the fan cover with a crosshead
screwdriver and remove the cover (fig. 5).
3. Mark holes in a wall or partition (fig. 6).
4. Drill holes in the wall and insert dowels that are included
into the delivery set (fig. 7).
5. Route 2 wires through the opening in the casing.
If no opening is available cut it out. Fix the main casing with
four screws that are included into delivery set. Remove the
fixing screws of the cable retaining clip and remove the clip
(fig. 8).
6. Connect the cable to plug-in terminal blocks and insert
them into the mating terminals on the fan printed circuit board
in compliance with the wiring diagram (fig. 22).
Re-install the cable retaining clip and fix it with screws.
7. Cover the fan and fix the cover with a screw using a
crosshead screwdriver (fig. 9).
MAO1 Reverse FAN INSTALLATION
1. Cut out power supply. Turn the automatic circuit breaker
to "OFF" position (fig. 10).
2. Remove a screw on the fan cover with a crosshead
screwdriver and pull out the cover (fig. 11).
3. Dismantle the fan for separate components following the
procedure on the fig. 12.
4. Insert the bolts that are included into delivery set into the
intermediate casing on back cover or hood side and fix the
bolts with the nuts that are also included into the delivery set.
Cover the casing with the back cover or outer hood (fig. 13).
5. Cut out a hole Ø 180 mm in a window frame from
4 to 17 mm thick.
Cover the pre-assembled casing with one sealing gasket
included into delivery set and insert the unit into the cut
hole (fig. 14).
