2 Safety instructions
The installation and commissioning as well as the connection of electrical components require
technical knowledge commensurate with a recognised vocational qualification as a fitter for
plumbing, heating and air conditioning technology, or a profession requiring a comparable level
of knowledge [specialist].
The following must be observed during installation and commissioning:
Relevant local and national regulations
•
Accident prevention regulations of the employers' liability insurance association
•
Instructions and safety instructions mentioned in these instructions
•
WARNING
Risk to life and limb due to electric shock!
Prior to commencing electrical work on the station, pull the mains plug!
Only after completing all work, plug the mains plug into a socket.
During commissioning, make sure that no water enters into the plug
Check the controller and its packaging carefully. Do not use the controller if you detect any
visible damage. The installation of a damaged product may cause fatal injury.
When adjusting the controller, make sure that the valve is in the correct opening position.
The incorrect direction of rotation can lead to too high or too low temperatures in the system
and can therefore cause damage to the system.
When adjusting the controller, make sure that the minimal and maximal nominal temperature is
correctly set. Incorrectly selected limit values for the setting of the nominal temperature lead to
an incorrect nominal temperature setting and therefore to an undesired operation which can
cause damage to the system and/or the user.
Water contact with the controller can cause damage to the controller and the person touching
the controller.
Each project with controller must have an independent system protection for too low or too high
temperatures. The controller has no protection functions to avoid too high or too low
temperatures in the system. Very high or very low temperatures in the system can cause
damage to the system or the user.
