Initial operation
Stand assembly
• Take the infrared heater and the pedestal base out of the package.
• Remove both foam collars from the infrared heater and place one foam collar
back into the packaging as shown.
• Place the infrared heater back into the carton box.
• Place the pedestal base at the bottom end of the infrared heater in the carton
and align the fixture bores to the threads in the infrared heater.
• Fix the pedestal plate with the three supplied screws and tighten with the Allen
key. To tighten the third screw turn the infrared heater around in the carton box.
Positioning instructions
Attention: Remove the transport lock in the reflector completely.
• It must be ensured that the heating radiation field of the floor-standing IR hea-
ter is not directed towards the power outlet. If this is not possible, it must be
ensured that the power outlet will not heat up to more than 70°C during heater
operation.
• Position the heater on a level, smooth substrate.
• A safety distance of at least 70 cm to the heated surface must be maintained
• The floor-standing IR heater must only be operated in an upright position.
