REASSEMBLE HUMIDIFIER
1. Place Removable Tray over heating element. Push Locking Tab toward back of unit so Removable
Tray Lift Tab locks in place.
2. Align Cooling Chamber Tab over Removable Tray. Push Locking Tab toward back of unit so
Cooling Chamber Tab locks into place beside Removable Tray Tab.
3. Replace Water Tank on Base.
4. Humidifier is ready to use. See Operating Instructions.
END-OF-SEASON CARE AND STORAGE
When the humidifier will not be used for at least one week, or it is the end of the season, fol-
low the WEEKLY CARE AND CLEANING instructions in this manual.
If it is the end of the season, remove and discard any accessories from the humidifier.
Dry the humidifier completely before storing. Do not store with water inside the Base, Heating
Chamber or Water Tank.
Pack unit in original carton and store in a cool, dry location.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your Humidifier is not working properly, refer to the following:
Problem
• Power Knob is set to "On"
and green light around
Power Knob is off
• Little or no mist is produced
• Reset Light illuminated
• Water overflows
from Reservoir
• Condensation forms around
humidifier or on windows
NOTE: Failure to keep this unit clean from mineral deposits normally contained in any water
supply will affect the efficiency of operation of this unit. Customer failure to follow these
instructions may void the warranty.
Possible Cause
• Unit not plugged in
• No power at outlet
• No water in Water Tank
• Unit is not level
• Mineral deposits on Heating
Element or Removable Tray
• Water Tank was washed
with detergent
• Water Tank is empty
• Unit not reset after refill
• Water Tank may be leaking
• Tank Cap is not tight
• Mist intensity is set too
high for room size or
pre-existing humidity level
Solution
• Plug unit in
• Check circuits, fuses, test outlet
• Fill Water Tank
• Place on a level surface
• Follow Cleaning Instructions
on previous pages
• Rinse thoroughly with
clean water
• Refill Water Tank
• Follow Reset Procedure
• Check Water Tank for leaks; contact
Consumer Relations if necessary
• Tighten Tank Cap
• Decrease mist output to low
setting and/or open door to
the room
