You can select pre-defined programs for appropriate types of teas. To do this, press
the «TEA» button. The currently selected tea program is displayed next to the status
LEDs.
o
The options available are as follows: GREEN / BLACK / WHITE / HERB / OOLONG and
CUSTOM.
o
The default values for the corresponding settings are given in the following table:

The option of tea type «Custom» should be used if the pre-defined values do not give
a satisfactory result, or the optimal values of the tea type used are too far from the
pre-programmed values. First press the «TEA» button until the «Custom» LED starts
glowing and then select the desired brewing time using the « » / « » buttons of
the individual temperature setting. Then check the brewing times (see «Selecting the
tea strength») or start the boiling process using the «ON/OFF» button.
Selecting the tea strength

You have the option to select the tea strength that affects the tea's steeping time.
o
First, use the «Custom» button to choose between Mild, Medium or Strong.
o
If none of the above options give a satisfactory result, then use the «Custom» option.
To do this, press the «Custom» button until the «Custom» LED starts glowing. Adjust
the brewing time using the individual time setting buttons.
