If the programming of the AUTOSTART function is successful, the status rings of the
"AUTOSTART" and "ON/OFF" buttons glow continuously.
• DESCALING AND CLEANING
o
We recommend descaling the kettle at regular intervals depending upon the intensity
of use. Before cleaning, pull out the power plug and wait until the appliance cools
down completely. Please use only commercially available descaling agents based on
citric acid to descale the water container.
For the appropriate dosage, please refer to the specifications on the package or insert

of the descaling agent. The heating plate should not be specifically cleaned. Do not
use any hard objects on the heating plate.

Use only a damp cloth for cleaning the kettle externally. Do not use any abrasive
items like wire brush or steel sponge for cleaning. Never use any cleaning agents
which may corrode the surface or present a health risk if consumed! Never immerse
the appliance, the power cable or the plug in water or in any other liquid to prevent
risk of electric shock.
