Eliminating minor faults yourself

Before you call customer service:
Please check whether you can eliminate the fault yourself based on the
following information.
Customer service will charge you for advice, even if the appliance is still under
guarantee!
Fault
Temperature differs
greatly from the set
value.
Light does not function.
Floor of the refrigerator
compartment is wet.
Possible cause
The light is faulty.
Light switch is
sticking. Fig. '/B.
The condensation
drainage pipe is
blocked Fig. $.
Remedial action
In some cases it is adequate to
switch off the appliance for
5 minutes.
If the temperature is too high
wait a few hours and check
whether the temperature has
approached the set value.
If the temperature is too low
check the temperature again
the next day.
Replace the light; Fig. '/A
1. Pull out the mains plug or
disconnect the fuse.
2. Remove the bulb cover
from the rear.
3. Replace the light;
220 - 240 V AC
replacement light,
E14 socket – see faulty
light for wattage.
The lights used in the
appliance are suitable for
domestic appliances only. The
lights are not suitable for
lighting rooms.
Check whether you can move
the light switch.
Clean the condensation
channel and the outlet (see
"Cleaning the appliance").
