Commissioning/start-up
Switching on: Connect the unit to the mains. The unit switches on as soon as the power connection is established.
Switching off: Disconnect the unit from the mains.
Maintenance and cleaning
Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences: Death or severe injury.
Protective measures:
• Electrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the water:
Isolate the units and installations (switch off and disconnect from the power supply) before reaching into
the water.
• Isolate the unit before starting any work.
• Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Cleaning the air filter (F):
• Undo the screws on the underside of the housing and remove the upper section of the housing together with the
sealing ring (E).
• Use a screwdriver to remove the filter holder (G, 4) from the upper section of the housing.
• Remove and shake out the filter fleece (G, 5).
• Push the cleaned fleece (G, 5) back into the filter holder (G, 4).
• Reassemble the unit in the reverse order.
Replacing the membranes (G-I):
Note!
• Never operate the unit with defective membranes.
• Always replace both membranes even when only one membrane is defective. The procedure is identical
for both membranes.
• Please contact your specialist dealer if you do not wish to undertake the replacement yourself.
• Undo the screws on the underside of the housing and remove the upper section of the housing together with the
sealing ring (E).
• Remove the membrane (G, 6).
• Unhook the membrane clip (G, 7).
• Undo the screw holding the membrane (H, 6) and membrane clip (H, 7).
• Fit the new membrane.
• Firmly screw the membrane (I, 6) in place with the screw of the membrane clip (I, 7).
• To prevent the screw connection from coming undone, secure by applying e.g. varnish.
• Reassemble the unit in the reverse order (H).
Storage/Over-wintering
When the unit is in continuous operation it can remain in place at freezing temperatures.) Otherwise store the unit in-
doors in a dry room (room temperature).
Wear parts
Aerator stones and membranes are wear parts and are not covered by our warranty.
Remedy of faults
Malfunction
The unit is not operating
The unit does not deliver any air or the amount
delivered is insufficient
The unit is unusually loud
Disposal
Note
Do not dispose of this unit with domestic waste.
• Render the unit unusable beforehand by cutting the cables and dispose of the unit via the return system provided
for this purpose.
Cause
No mains voltage
The aeration stones are soiled
The air filter is soiled
Membrane is defective
Membrane is defective
Remedy
Check mains voltage
Clean the aeration stones
Clean the air filter
Replace the membranes
Replace the membranes
