2.1 General safety notes

Check the operability and the correct phone number each time before use by test call.

The call must not be answered by an answering machine or similar equipment
Ensure that you have a good reception on your mobile phone and that it remains within range if
you change location
Ensure that your mobile phone is fully charged
Ensure that loud noises do not prevent you from hearing the ringer

2.2 Telephone network

must be connected to an analogue telephone line. For the use with ISDN/Internet telephone VoIP

The voltage of this network (TVN=Telecommunication Network Voltage) is defined in directive EN41003.
It is a telecommunication circuit that should not be touched.

2.3 Technical notes
A 9 V-battery is located on the rear side of the device.
Replace the 9 V-battery as soon as the acoustic warning (three beeps) is generated when bébétel
switched on. Disconnect the telephone cord before opening battery compartment. This is to avoid contact
with dangerous telephone network voltage!
