4.2 COMBI extension (With motion detector)
To receive a call even if the child leaves the room without making any noise, you can connect a motion detector.

Direct the motion detector so that it monitors only the exit of the room.
4.2.1 Safety instructions
The function switch must be set to OFF and telephone-cord must be disconnected before wiring of AC-
adapter or motion detector can be carried out.
Only connect bébétel
Connect telephone-cord only to -LINE-jack of the alarm unit, never to the EXT-Jack.
4.2.2 Activation of motion detector
Wait at least two minutes after applying power to let the motion detector stabilise. Walk through the entire area
you want to be monitored and observe the red light on the motion sensor to ensure full coverage. Adjust swivel if
necessary.
