The equipment must always be stored and transported vertically, means "standing
upright", on a pallet and in its original packaging. If stored or transported horizontally,
it must be put up in vertical position for at least 24 hours before start-up.
Important: Please read the safety instructions carefully before using the equipment.
The following instructions are essential for safety and should therefore be observed
strictly.
Installation and service
Installation, start-up, servicing and repairs may only be carried out by an appropriately
qualified technician in compliance with currently applicable standards.
Prior to operation or implementing any work on the equipment (installation, start-up, use
and servicing), the person responsible must become familiar with all instructions in the in-
stallation manual of the heat pump as well as with the technical specifications.
Under no circumstances install the equipment in the vicinity of heat sources, combustible
materials or near the air intake of a building.
Unless the equipment is installed in a location with limited access, a protective grille must
be fitted.
To avoid severe burns, you should avoid contact with the pipework during installation,
servicing or repair. Always wear protective clothing.
Prior to any work on the refrigerant system, the heat pump must be turned off and cooled
down. Working on the refrigerant system is only permitted for qualified technicians.
When servicing the heat pump, the refrigerant level should be checked.
Please check if the pressure switches are correctly connected to the refrigerant system.
The pressure gauge at the swimming-pool heat pump does not indicate the water pres-
sure but the pressure in the refrigerant circuit. This means: less water flow = heat dissipa-
tion is slowed down and the pressure rises. Higher water flow = heat dissipation is
increased and the pressure drops.
Check the refrigerant components for traces of corrosion and oil stains.
