OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is recycled.
• The battery is to be recycled as a lithium-ion battery.
UNIVERSAL AC/DC POWER ADAPTER
1. Remove the wall adapter and charger from the carton.
2. Note the charger comes standard with a universal AC voltage wall adapter.
3. Connect the power cord to the bottom of the clipper (Figure A) and then insert
the transformer into an AC outlet.
CHARGING CLIPPER
The 13.5V
2.2A AC adapter is only intended for use with Andis Model SBLC
lithium-ion clipper. Remove the clipper and AC adapter from the carton. Plug the
AC adapter into a 100-240V, 50/60 cycle AC outlet, or as noted on the unit. Plug the
adapter cord directly into the receptacle on the bottom of the clipper (Figure A).
The clipper ON/OFF switch must be in the OFF position for the battery to charge
(Figure B). The charging indicator light on the clipper will turn red when the clipper
is charging. When clipper is fully charged, the red light will turn green (Figure C).
The clipper has not been charged at the factory. Please charge the clipper for
60 minutes before FIRST use for maximum performance. When battery is fully
charged, clipper can be used for up to 90 minutes of continuous run time.
FAILURE TO CHARGE
1. Make sure voltage is present at the wall outlet (confirm with an appliance you
know is working).
2. Make sure ON/OFF switch on the clipper is OFF.
3. Check to make sure adapter cord is plugged firmly into clipper.
4. If failure to charge still exists, return clipper to Andis or an Andis authorized
service station for examination and repair or replacement.
