Operating Principle

The GPRS Receiver Battery is a radio receiver for unidirectional M-Bus Mode T1
consumption meters (electricity, gas, water and heat). The received radio telegrams
of the consumption meters are stored into an internal, non-volatile memory (approx.
40,000 telegrams). At predefined points of time the radio telegram data are
transmitted over an internet connection established by the GPRS modem to an FTP
server.
