Insertion of the SIM Card

The SIM card is inserted as shown on the pictures beneath:
The SIM card should be inserted gently without using force. Please be sure that the
card holder lid is correctly locked by pushing it until it snaps in (as indicated on the
right most picture above).

USB Connection

For configuring the GPRS Receiver Battery the device must be connected to the
USB port of a Windows PC or notebook. The accompanying USB cable can be used
to accomplish the connection. Before connecting the GPRS Receiver Battery to a
PC it is mandatory to install the enclosed configuration software including the
USB driver. Additional information referring to the configuration software and the
installation of the USB driver can be found in the software manual
GPRSReceiverBattery _Manual.pdf on the enclosed CD.
Depending on the version of the GPRS Receiver Battery the internal or (optionally)
the external, IP67 tight USB connector is used.
Use only the enclosed USB cable or a specific USB cable (type USB A to type USB
Mini B) with a maximum length of 3 m.
Do not connect the USB cable before the configuration software including the
USB driver for the GPRS Receiver Battery is installed on the PC.
The correct configuration of the SIM card parameters, the FTP server and the
radio reception parameters are in detail described in the manual of the
configuration software GPRSReceiverBattery_Manual.pdf.
