Actuator 24V
The actuator is used for the motorised drive of the 3-way-valve. The angle of rotation is limited to 90°. When the end
stops are reached, the actuator is switched off electrically and currentless. In case of control system failures, the drive
can be switched to manual operation using an additional rotary encoder.

Initial commissioning using electronic control unit WHSE
1. Check correct wiring.
2. If everything is attached correctly, connect the supply voltage and carry out the following tests for the respectively
correct temperature regulation.
– Function test
1. Set DIP switch 4 (Pos.) to position A and DIP switches 1, 2, 3 and 5 to position B.
2. Turn MIN pot (Pos.Ž) clockwise to the end position.
LED Y1 (Pos.) should flash and the actuator should open the 3-way-valve.
3. Turn MIN pot (Pos.Ž) anti-clockwise to the end position.
LED Y1 (Pos.) should flash and the actuator should close the 3-way-valve.
... in case of external setpoint pot (TFR):
4. Set DIP switches (Pos.) 3 and 5 to position A and DIP switches 1, 2 and 4 to position B.
5. Turn the external setpoint pot (TFR) clockwise to the end position.
LED Y1 (Pos.) should flash and the actuator should open the 3-way-valve.
6. Turn the external setpoint pot(TFR) anti-clockwise to the end position.
LED Y2 (Pos.‘) should flash and the actuator should close the 3-way-valve.

– After the test
Set the desired control mode via the Dip switches (Pos.) to the correct position (see SS-953).
For constant room temperature control with minimum limit, set the cascade factor CF (Pos.) and the MIN pot (Pos.Ž)
to the desired minimum supply air temperature.
For supply air temperature and constant room temperature control, CF (Pos.) should be set to 1 to ensure stable re-
gulation.
