Circulating pump
The circulating pump (Fig.11) consists of a hydraulic system, a wet winding
motor with permanent magnet rotor and an electronic control module with
integrated frequency converter.
– Settings using the rotary encoder
All functions can be set, activated or deactivated using the rotary encoder.
Differential pressure variable (∆p-v):
3 m
The differential pressure setpoint H is increased linearly over the permitted flow rate range between
½H and H (Fig.12/a,13). The differential pressure generated by the pump is regulated at the respec-
6 m
tive differential pressure setpoint. This type of regulation is particularly suitable for heating systems
with radiators, as the flow noises to the thermostatic valves are reduced.
Differential pressure constant (∆p-v)
The differential pressure setpoint H is kept constant at the set differential pressure setpoint over the
permitted flow rate range up to the maximum characteristic curve (Fig.12/b,13). We recommend this
type of regulation for underfloor heating circuits or older heating systems with large-sized pipes, as
well as all applications that do not have variable piping characteristic curves, such as hot water tank
feed pumps
Ventilation function:
With regard to the automatic ventilation function (10 min.), the pump runs alternatively at high and
low speeds and leads air accumulations from the pump directly to the system ventilation valve.
