BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Wash the freezer bowl, lid and mixing paddle in warm soapy water. Be sure to rinse and dry all parts thoroughly.
• Wipe the motor unit with a moist cloth.
• Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.
• Do not put neither the motor unit nor of the parts in the dishwasher.
USE
Freezing the cooling containers
• The most important step in making ice-cream is to make sure that the cooling containers are properly frozen.
• Place the freezer bowl in the freezer and make sure the temperature of the freezer is at least -18°c.
• For best results, the cooling container should be placed upright in the back of your freezer, where the temperature
is coldest.
• The length of time necessary to freeze the bowl (at least 8 hours), will depend upon the temperature of the freezer.
• To check the ideal freezing condition we advice to shake the freezer bowl, you should not hear any liquid moving
between the walls of the freezer bowl.
• Hint: Keep the cooling container in the freezer, this allows you to make your favourite ice-cream whenever you want.
Assembling the appliance
• Hold the motor unit upside down and insert the paddle shaft into the hole.
• Push the transparent lid into the leg of motor unit.
• Push the mixing paddle on the paddle shaft and turn back.
• Take the freezer bowl out of the freezer, make sure it is completely frozen. Place the already mounted lid with motor
unit and paddle on the freezer bowl.
• Slide the lock and make sure it is securely locked.
• Turn on the device by using the ON/OFF switch.
• Pour the ingredients through the feeder hole into the freezer bowl.
• Leave the machine ON for approximately 20-40 minutes. Maximum operation time is 1 hour.
• NOTE: THE ENGINE OPERATES SLOW AND RATTLING THIS IS BECAUSE A RETARDER ON THE ENGINE.
• Note: home-made ice-cream will not have the same consistency as hard, store-bought ice-cream. The consistency
will be more soft and creamy. To make the ice-cream harder, use a rubber spatula or wooden spoon and remove the
ice cream from the cooling container into a sealed container. Place this container back into the freezer for several
hours, or until ice-cream becomes hard.
CLEANING
• The freezer bowl, paddle and lid can be cleaned with warm water and mild detergent. The motor unit can be cleaned
by using a damp cloth.
• Do not put any parts in the dishwasher. Never immerse the motor unit in water.
• Make sure all parts are dried thoroughly.
• Never place the freezer bowl in the freezer when it is still wet.
• Never store the mixing paddle and/or paddle shaft in the freezer.
