• The power supply should be out of reach of children. Please also ensure that the power cord
and/or any extension cord is placed so that there is no danger of someone tripping on it and
pulling the appliance off the table.
• When setting up the appliance, ensure that there is a safe distance from water and heat sources.
Operation
Operation of the chocolate fountain must be done in steps. Do not do the steps under "Set Up and
Switch On" before the steps under "Prepare the ppliance".
Prepare the Appliance
1. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and allow it to dry.
2. Clean the spiral screw and tower with dish soap and rinse with clear water. Dry well.
3. Insert the spiral screw.
4. Mount the tower and press down until it clicks into place.
5. Set up the appliance on a stable, washable surface near a suitable socket.
6. The switch must be set to OFF/ US.
7. Plug the power cord into a suitable socket.
8. Set the switch to HE T/WÄRME and preheat the appliance for approx. 3-5 minutes. In the
meantime, you can prepare the chocolate.
IMPORTANT!
• Do not add liquid chocolate to the tray until the end of the preheating period.
Prepare the Chocolate
IMPORTANT!
• Do not use chocolate with ingredients such as hazelnuts, almonds or brittle. They can block the
spiral screw.
• The smaller the chocolate pieces, the less time they take to melt.
• Pre-melt approx. 400 g of chocolate.
