Conformity and certification
This chapter contains information regarding the conformity and certification of the radio
handset.
EU Declaration of Conformity
The markings on the housing of the radio handset are applicable.
Hereby, Funktel GmbH declares that the radio equipment type FT4 and FT5
product familys is in compliance with Directive 2014/53/EU (Radio Equipment
Directive RED) and Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Coun-
cil of 8 June 2011 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in elec-
trical and electronic equipment.

Transnational use
In the Member State concerned or in the geographical area within a Member State, any
applicable restrictions on placing in service or requirements to be met for the authorisa-
tion of use must be complied with.
