ASSEMBLY
1 MAKE SURE YOU HAVE READ ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
2 This tool comes completely assembled. There is no assembly required.
OPERATION
Never load staples and nails at the same time
1 Loading your tool with staples. Unplug your ETFX50™. The ETFX50™ accepts a full
strip of Arrow T50
®
staples in all 6 sizes.
a. Press Staple Pusher Release in & down as shown in figure 1. This will release the
staple pusher assembly figure 2. which will easily slide out.
b. Insert a strip of staples into staple chamber with staple points facing down as shown
in figure 3.
c. Slide staple pusher assembly inward until it locks in place. Be sure trigger lock is en-
gaged before plugging cord into outlet.
2 Loading your tool with brad nails. Unplug your ETFX50™. The ETFX50™ accepts a
full strip of Arrow BN1810 5/8" brad nails.
a. Press Staple Pusher Release in & down as shown in figure 1. This will release the
staple pusher assembly figure 2. which will easily slide out.
b. Insert a strip of Brad nails with points down into left side of staple chamber
( side marked with icon) as shown in figure 4.
Attempting to force brad nails into right side of staple chamber may cause
damage to the tool.
c. Slide staple pusher assembly inward until it locks in place. Be sure trigger lock is
engaged before plugging cord into outlet.
3Cleaning Staple Chamber. In the unlikely event that you should have a staple jam, the
entire staple chamber can be removed for cleaning. First remove pusher rod "A" figure
5. Then remove screw & nut from hole "B" and finally
remove entire magazine from housing.
